Before the dawning of life, gods ruled time and space. Bitter jealousy fueled many wars amongst the gods, as they desired ultimate supremacy. Agreeing to hold a contest, a rule book was written establishing the guidelines for the game. Each god, given his own world, created life. As these planets died off, so did their creators, until only two gods remained according to the Book of Legends. One had a world of magic, while the other god's world was of science. The game seemed to be a stalemate until a druid from the world of magic found the book in a crater. Realizing the potential deadly risks the find had, he appointed five other druids to guard the relic. Swayed by the book's seductive powers, one of the druids murdered all but one of the five druids. Control of two worlds was now in his grasp.
