For thousands of years, the martial arts has been developed throughout the world and has continued to fascinate mankind in many cultures. Even today, the martial arts is always evolving and producing great pioneers in the sport. I use the term sport loosely, since I donat like the idea of the martial arts having become watered down as a result of the training methods, specifically for sport competition. The purpose of this book is to try and bring to the mind of the martial arts practitioner the real purpose of the development of the fighting arts, which is self-defense.
