Dark Worlds: Servant tells the story of how a respected and revered general from a great city called Athica begins his journey to becoming a god. But the path to becoming a god is not easily traveled as his world must first be lost, forcing him to become a servant to Dakgrim, the God of the Unrest. Nonetheless, Ares becomes a servant, not to become a god, but to save his dead family from becoming Unrest creatures. Dakgrim, however, finds himself cast out of his kingdom by his own son and makes Ares a deal. If Ares accepts the deal and completes the mission given to him, his family will cross over to the other side and life will be restored to his homeland. The journey is not an easy one, though, and holds many dangers. Ares quickly finds himself standing against the soldiers of the Unrest along with other mythological creatures as he enters into a realm not meant for the living.
