内容简介:
This book is a collection of poems from my high school days to the present. I have studied the British romantics, and Orientalism in particular. I have studied them both in school and on my own. My fascination with the exotic is reflected in this poetry through my own American romantic style. The Oriental influence in half of the work is strictly by proxy, not by experience. These poems are suitable for children, and I hope that the child in all of the audience will be delighted. Some of these poems are fantasy poems. Creatures such as the Watchwitch from my musical play, Catdance, and characters from this play have made it into this little book. Small observations about the world, philosophy, and inspiration have gone into the poems in this book. It is my hope that the reader will be enlightened by and enjoy this book.
