The Scarecrow is set in the small backwater town of Whiterock, Virginia. Every year, for as long as anyone can remember, a somewhat gruesome tradition has taken place. During the week of Halloween, the children compete to see who can build the most frightening scarecrow. Jack Oakeefe is a five-time winner, and in his final year of competition, he is anxious to build his scariest creation yet. While looking for the perfect mask, Jack and his younger brother Timmy discover that Lee Thomas has one in his store that he claims is evil. In response to their questions, Mr. Thomas tells the boys of the maskas role in his brotheras death. Jack, however, refuses to be deterred and becomes obsessed with the mask. When he breaks into the drugstore, he unleashes a series of horrific events that terrorize his hometown. Will you survive The Scarecrow? Come in. Be scared.
