Living in an era where humanism and nihilism seem to define every aspect of human endeavor including religion and spirituality, Moreno has undertaken the difficult task of explaining the great Christian concept of God in a unique, but orthodox, way to those individuals who find difficulties with the traditional concepts of God. The Theognosis deals with a vision of the divine which is both empyreal and personal. Moreno makes use of both symbol and allegory to define God's nature; His very being.
