This book is a fictionalized account of Life on Kwajalein with a heroine American girl whose grandmother was still in Vladivostok and who had been enticed to spy for the Russians with the promise of a better life for her grandmother. Maybe there was truth to the belief that the Russians had sneaked in from their ship constantly patrolling around the island while the storm was on going and their divers had found and retrieved the black box.
