The Chaos Cycle is the fictional account of a week-long murder spree that takes place within the state of Maryland, the lives that are affected, and the investigation that ensues: Young Hugo wanted so much to succeed in life for the sake of his mama and himself, to save them both from the abusiveness of his papa and the poverty that they both knew so well. However, his dreams are never realized as one day he is separated from both his mama and his homeland, never to see either again.
