内容简介:
Steve Kawano, pursuing his doctorate and supporting his family as a technical writer, feels called to teach, but in what venue is unclear. At the onset of the Apollo Program, he is hired to supervise a unit that edits reports sent from the spacecraft manufacturer to NASA. Going to the moon is the most important project of the millennium, and to meet the programas demanding schedules, he willingly contributes thousands of uncompensated hours and drops his doctorate curriculum. But as power, reputation, and security dominate the program, his idealism is replaced by disappointment. As Steve struggles with his surroundings and his own demons, he grows spiritually, and as his hopes for the program decline, his spiritual life rises. By the end book, by putting God first and his own self aside, he matures as a Christian and is found teaching others what he has discovered spiritually.
