内容简介：
Corey Mandler is a member of an evangelism team sent to the planet Bletha in the future to win converts. He experiences a revolution and the splitting up of his team. Two more members of his team, medical missionaries, open a hospital. The missionary headquarters is burned and he goes into exile with some of the team and converts. He falls in love with Temala, cousin to the queen. The queen goes into exile. Corey hides out in the country, escapes to the coast, is captured and later released, returns and finds the Christians hiding out. He is drafted into the army, from which he deserts, finally finds his way back and with other Christians confronts the pagan ruler at a sacrifice of Christians. All of Coreyas actions are observed and helped by two angels, unknown to him.
