内容简介:
Through Hell to the Garden of Eden is a story about a deer hunter who goes after a trophy deer that he has been pursuing for two or three years. This time he goes out alone and shoots the deer, but as he nears the fallen dear, he himself falls into a hole in the ground. He finds himself in a cave that is perfectly cylindrical with walls as smooth as glass. The cave is elevated at a degree such that it is impossible for the imprisoned to escape. He is sliding forever downwards. As days pass, he quickly runs out of food and water. As he reaches the bottom, he emerges into a land of prehistoric animals. He is surrounded by such creatures as the tyrannosaurus, pterodactyl and even giant snakes. He spends a year trying to avoid these monsters while he seeks the cave that could get him back home. While searching, he finds a garden resembling the Garden of Eden. There in the center is a tree with fruit capable of taking care of any problem. Many years after his return to his own time, his grandson contracts an incurable disease. Now they must return to that prehistoric land in search of the Garden of Eden.
