Single To Paris is the last fling of Rosie Ewing. SOE agent in German-occupied France August 1945. Rosie is back in France. Destination: Paris, to trace two agents arrested by the Gestapo. Also in Paris is Jacqueline, mistress of a highly placed SD officer. Rosie's brief is to find Jacqueline, use her to discover where the agents are being held, and rescue them before they are broken by torture. The French Resistance become involved, but in the chaos of the times, both Gaullist and Communist resistance groups are stirring -- and at each others' throats. There are also exceptionally vicious pro-Nazi groups. Rosie is going solo into disturbed waters filled with sharks.
