内容简介：
Duff Elton has returned to the farm where he spent his childhood, bringing with him his new wife, Lily. Next door are his childhood friends, Nell and Paddy. It is not long before Nell's old love for Duff is revived, while Paddy is smitten with Lily. Then disaster strikes - a cow develops BSE and Paddy's entire beloved herd is destroyed.
