内容简介:
"Framed as a School Shooter" is a satire of schools gone out of control with post-Columbine paranoia that many students can relate to. When teachers find a backpack full of guns they instantly blame school outcast Sam Smith. The guns do not belong to Sam Smith but the paranoid school refuses to believe him because he fits the stereotype of the weird kid who eventually snaps. Includes ten more short stories of satire on our crazy society including "Guilty of Self-Defense," in which a teen is arrested for defending himself against his parents' beatings; "I'm Just a Passenger," in which a plane crash is blamed on two innocent Pakistani men; and "Lies in my Psychiatric Record," in which an ER nurse has her ex-boyfriend committed as revenge for breaking her heart.
