感觉作者是个杂家，可能也是个paper machine，但是这本科普读物写得很一般，译得也很差。有时间可以看看他在science发的paper。
下面是wikipedia对他的书评"Barabási has found that the websites that form the network (of the WWW) have certain mathematical properties. The conditions for these properties to occur are threefold. The first is that the network has to be expanding, growing. This precondition of growth is very important as the idea of emergence comes with it. It is constantly evolving and adapting.
