翻译图书的垃圾传统

    投资类书籍翻译粗制滥造已经不是一天两天了，这本书自然逃不过这个命运。比如第九章《正确运用止损指令》第214页，对应英文版第209页中，

　...... A stop-loss order instructs the specialist in the stock on the exchange floor that once the stock has dropped to your specified price, the order becomes a market order, and the stock will be sold out on the next transaction.
把instruct译成“指导”，这就罢了，居然把specialist（交易场内的专家经纪人）译成“专家”，干脆说是股评家好了。
接下去把market order译成了“交易指令”，人家明确说了是市价指令

It’s usually better not to enter stop-loss orders. In doing so, you and other similarly minded investors are showing your hand to market makers, and at times they might drop the stock to shake out stop-loss orders. Instead, watch your stocks closely and know ahead of time the exact price at which you will immediately sell to cut a loss. However, some people travel a lot and aren’t able to watch their stocks closely, and others have a hard time making sell decisions and getting out when they are losing. In such cases, stop-loss orders help compensate for distance and indecisiveness.
market makers明明是“做市商”，中文版变成了“市场掌控者”，不知道名词不会百度么？
know ahead of time the exact price at which you will immediately sell to cut a loss. 给说成是“在到达你亏损的价格之前卖掉他们”。这里分明是“事先知道在哪个特定价位决然卖出以斩断亏损”。止损行为在英明神武的翻译手中变成了免损行为。
接下去，making sell decisions and getting out when they are losing.（在亏损的时候做出卖出决定并斩仓离场）变成了“选择卖出时机”，执行问题硬生生给修理成规划问题了。

If you use a stop-loss order, remember to cancel it if you change your mind and sell a stock before the order is executed. Otherwise, you could later accidentally sell a stock that you no longer own. Such errors can be costly.
这段总算有进步，只有一个错误，不过依然离谱： Otherwise, you could later accidentally sell a stock that you no longer own. （否则，你可能会意外地卖出你不再拥有的股票）在翻译眼中成了“可能卖不掉你不再想持有的股票”。写到这里，远处传来了阵阵春雷

这段大概也就几百个字，居然有这么多莫名其妙的错误。至于全书么，类似的错误多如牛毛，有的句子跟原句根本不是一个意思，有时甚至会漏译关键分句，各位同学看得时候注意鉴别。
根据我的经验，这本书有难以理解的地方，绝对不是你语文有问题，是翻译的智商（或者更恶劣的，态度）有问题，会英格里希的，还是看原版吧，不管怎么说，书绝对是好书
