年初香港逛诚品的时候,因为买三打折,拿多了的这一本。
对于物质基本没什么追求的人来说,书里提倡的生活方式是比较对胃口的。
“为了能自由自在生活,要试着思考何谓幸福。”作者通过对日本与欧美的生活方式、社会体系、收入等作比较,反思为何日本的高收入却带来低幸福感,进而重新思考和定义什么是幸福的生活。
“Less is More”是全书的基准。这观点是由20世纪30年代著名的德国现代主义建筑大师密斯·凡德罗提出的,意在提倡简单、节约,反古典复兴样式建筑及过度装饰的设计理念。
“如果想要纯朴的生活,就必须认真思考自己的生活与人生。而且最重要的是,必须用【自己的意志】选择工作。”
想起看过的一句话,“外表很风光,内心很荒凉”,这也许是当今社会人群的通病。在经济高速发展,教育和文化普及却相对落后的今天,大部分人只能通过追求物质上的满足来实现自我价值。而在物质上的过分追求,带来的只是短暂性的虚荣和满足,并不会让你长期感受到幸福,反而会因此增加金钱上的负担和思想上的焦虑。

总体来说,高税金的北欧四国幸福指数能位列全球前四,除了因为社会福利保障体系相对完善之外,主要还在于群体的价值观取向。作者在书中列出的衣食住行排行中,日本为 衣≥食>住,北欧为 住>旅>食>衣。“幸福感高的国家,重视居住的比例较高。” 而且相对于其他国家,北欧更注重精神追求。
书中提出了十项【新幸福】条件:
1. 乐于工作
2. 有好朋友,有亲密的家人
3. 经济稳定
4. 精神、身体健康
5. 要有带刺激感的兴趣和生活形态
6. 时间可以自由安排
7. 选择适合的居住地方
8. 思考事情的方式是正确的
9. 把眼光放在未来
10. 觉得自己有朝目标前进
关于如何提高幸福感的问题,总结了书中一些小提议,值得参考下以重新定位自己追求的生活。
- 思考、改变现有的生活模式和价值观。
- 给生活作减法,清理不必要的物品。
- 增强能力,管理自我。
- 有能力自己选择有效率的工作方式 / 工作让你有成就感,在专业领域上能够有所成长。
- 控制收入和支出。
- 重视自己的判断,不要被固有且毫无道理的常识束缚。思考什么是对自己最重要的事情,不受周围人群影响,从而作出最合适的选择。
- 从他人轴心转变成为自我轴心,了解真实的自我需求。
- 有长期的目标和计划。比起短期的大幸福,长期的小幸福更容易持续下去。
- 改变固有的生活模式,去享受改变。
最后,如果现有的生活让你无法再坚持,可以尝试 Reduce-减少 / Reset-重新设定 / Rebuild-重建,去寻找一种更适合自己的生活模式。
