The idea of For One More Day

For One More Day is a book I recently read, and it really touches me in a very deep way. Thanks to my friend’s recommendation so that I won’t miss such a brilliant novel.
This is the story of a man named Charley who loses his job, leaves his family, and decides, one night, to end his life. Somewhere between this world and the next, he encounters his mother, who died years ago, and he spends one last day with her - a day he never had on earth. In the end, Charley learns how little he really knew about his mother, how her love saved their family, and how deeply he wants the chance to save his own.
After finishing it, I cannot control my feelings. I begin to realize that the true love is he loves you whenever, wherever, whoever you are. Love is not an easy job. It requires self-sacrifice, tolerance, patience and it means you must have a solid and powerful soul to love others, expecially then they are so hurting, so rude and so unreasonable.
This book is a short story you can finish reading within a day. It is beautiful, moving you to tears first and smiles eventually. "When someone is in your heart, they're never truly gone. They can come back to you, even at unlikely times." The idea is so comforting that it has to be true. Finally, my understanding of the key message of the book: Love cures all.
