Part I Introduction.
Definition: Mastery is a ever-lasting life-time journey.
A dabbler will not be consistent, quit right after passion fade away.
The Obsessive works hard, but always expecting to reap quick and obvious reward, quit after certain time staying on the plateau.
The Hacker works hard and enjoys the plateau, but will stay on plateau rather than continue pushing the limitation.
The point is being a dabbler, the obsessive or a hacker will stop one from mastery journey. When applying to life, on different perspectives people may apply different type.
Part II The Five Master Keys.
Key 1. Introduction - find the right one.
Key 2. Practice - which can't be enough.
Key 3. Surrender - or say to empty yourself
Key 4. Intentionality - Define direction.
Key 5. The edge - stay with the limit
Part III Tools for Mastery.
Mind and body hates change, whether it's for better or worse, reason can manage this.
To prepare the energy:
1) Physical fitness. 2) Acknowledge the negative and accentuate the positive. 3) Try telling the truth. 4) Honor but don't indulge your own dark side. 5) Set your priorities. 6) Make commitments. 7) start the journey.
Pitfalls along the road:
1) Life way conflicting. 2) Obsessive goal orientation. 3) Poor instruction. 4) Lack of competitiveness. 5) Over-competitiveness. 6) Laziness. 7) Injuries. 8) Drugs. 9) Prizes and Medals. 10) Vanity. 11) Dead seriousness. 12) Inconsistency. 13) Perfectionism.
