p55. Food is information that tells your body how to operate.
p67. Four rules:
Eat slowly and consciously.
Give your body clear instructions.
Stay positive.
Go for quality, not quantity.
p85. Closed-minded people are led by fear. That and anger are the most negative energies we have. It could be fear that they are wrong, fear that someone might have a better way, fear that something has to change. Fear limits your ability to live your life.
p89. A lot of people assume that when you're not busy, you're wasting time, being useless or lazy. That's what I felt before I began cherishing and respecting this time.
p95. Everybody deals with stress, nervousness, and frustration: I'm not feeling good today, so screw this or screw that. It's normal because you are human. But remember: The amount of control you have over yourself to overcome those feelings determines your quality of life. My quality of life is formed by the people that I have around me, and my love for them; they remind me every day to focus on what's important, and to set aside my frustrations and fears. If my career disappears tomorrow, and my friends and family are all I have left, well that's more than enough.
p146. Make the changes. Enjoy the process. But don't let the changes be your goal. Let them be your gateway to bigger, better goals. Be ready.
