人生总比戏剧更精彩，Jobs的一生是这句话最好的印证。
Act I：创立Apple，到被自己亲手创建的公司驱逐
Act II：创立NeXT和Pixar，到回归Apple
Act III：推出一系列伟大的产品--Mac/iPod/iPhone/iPad
跌宕起伏的才叫人生。对Jobs来说，支持他从谷底回到巅峰的一直是他对Tech和art的无限热爱，以及对开发创新型产品和建立长青企业的不卸追求。
孩童时代的被收养际遇让Jobs一直缺乏安全感，养父母的教导让Jobs觉得自己是特别的。世界是二元的，非0即1，非黑即白，也许只是因为最敏感的内心容不下其他的存在。
企业理念：
Jobs对建立企业理念的形成，来自于Mike Markkula， 苹果的第一位投资人，也是Jobs早年视如父亲的角色。他教会了Jobs三大理念：Empathy、 Focus和Impute。Empathy让Jobs能够坚持”Customers don't know what they want until we've shown them“；Focus能够让Jobs排除杂念，只用心做几款产品，“Deciding what not to do is as important as deciding what to do”；Impute让Jobs明白，企业最重要的责任，就是尽各种努力，全方位的将你的价值观和理念转嫁给你的用户。
“A dual legacy: building innovative products and building a lasting company”。做事的动因决定了你做事的方向。想要开发创新型产品和建立长久企业的动因，为Jobs指明了航向。
当新产品发布deadline即将到来时，如果他发觉那不是他认可的产品，他就坚决Say No。“If sth isn't right, you can't just ignore it and say you'll fix it later. That's what other companies do“。
当发现Apple落后于Windows的时候，奋起直追，因为”The mark of an innovative company is not only that it comes up with new ideas first, but also that it knows how to leapfrog when it finds itself behind”。
不断的对Apple进行彻底改造，因为“The lasting companies know how to reinvent themselves”。
不怕同类相残(cannibalization)，即自家产品会分食掉其他产品的份额，因为如果你不开发出新产品来分食份额，会有其他公司出来分食掉你现有公司的份额。
将Apple建立成为一家有凝聚力且灵活的公司，所有的团队都紧密结合在一起，为同一个目标而奋进，profit-and-loss。
让Apple成为A-plus player的乐园，因为”A-plus players like to work together, and they don't like it if you tolerate B work. “
学会主导大局并适当放权，”Let other creative people flourish and take the lead.“ ”Taking risks and learning to let those you love take risks.“
Art理念：
Jobs对完美的不卸追求，来源于其养父Paul Jobs，一个手艺人。从Paul身上，Jobs学会了“A drive for perfection meant caring about the craftsmanship even of the parts unseen"。
其他的理念，包括”Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication“，”Good artists copy, great artists steal“，”Great art stretches the taste, it doesn't follow tastes“，”Simplicity isn't just a visual style. It's not just minimalism or the absence of clutter. It involves digging through the depth of the complexity.“
伟大的对决需要伟大的对手来衬托。伟大的对手如同知音一样难以觅寻。Bill Gates和Jobs就像是镜子的两面，从对手身上能够看到相反的自己。Bill Gates代表Open和Fragmented，而Job代表了Closed和Integrated。事实证明，两种价值观都能够很好的生存，两种价值观都是正确的。世界不仅只有两面，而是可以具有多面。
