It is the best seller in 1995. Not sure if it still works now. And actually it is not so popular now.

The author didn't achieve a lot in business. It is this book that makes Vicki Robin well-known. And based on wiki, Vicki Robin is known as an American writer and advocate of "Simple Living," rather than a successful woman or an investor.
However, in Amazon the customer review is pretty high. And I quote a review from a person who gives relatively a low marks, three out of five stars.
”I am in my mid 30's and into serious financial planning. I found this book interesting, but a bit long. Also, I am pretty much in-control of my finances, so some of the suggestions were common sense to me.
However, if you are a person who lives check-to-check and is looking for a way to get out of the earn-and-spend spiral, I'd highly recommend this book or 'The Mindful Money Guide'.“
For me, I would like to start to read this book.
