读完了Jim Rogers的书：A Gift to my children: A Father's Lessons for Life and Investing。一个来自阿拉巴马小镇的孩子，靠自己聪明才智进了Yale， Oxford（他在Oxford学的居然是哲学！！！），成了著名投资家，在哥伦比亚大学等处做客座教授。
他认为孩子应该做global citizens, 这个和我的想法一致，我在硕士期间就研究过global citizens and people's identity. 他为了孩子成为global citizen， 尤其他认为21世纪是中国世纪，带着孩子移居到亚洲，有中国家庭教师，教她们唐诗、普通话！他说：Mandarin and English will be the most important languages in the world!
他的很多想法和我一致哎！
他说： I want you to pursue without pause, whatever it is that stirs your passion. Keep working towards your dream, not someone else's, and not mine, either.
给女孩子的建议： Do not follow a boy to a different school, city or job. Make the boys follow you.
所以，我准备寒假和娃儿们读这本书，也算是英语精读吗？
